Thanks to Sixret I have now got a copy of the Fourth Bedside Book which turned up today. It has got a dustwrapper but it's also got printed boards of the same image as the wrapper which has surprised me, as the other Bedside books I've seen are single coloured boards. Seems strange for one book of a set to have been done with printed boards but it does look nice so it's a bit of a pity their not all like it . It will go nicely to start off my Bedside books collection. Thank you Sixret for finding it for me .

As a bonus, when I opened the first page, inside it was a Happy New Year postcard that has obviously been used as the bookmark. On the back is stamped 'Hudson/Mass. Dec 31st 1910' with a postage stamp for one cent depicting Benjamin Franklin. What an unexpected surprise that was! When I get a book that's got an inscription in it I always wonder about the person behind it, who wrote it, who received it and so on, much like Diana thinking about the history of Bob's hanky in Rockingdown Manor. I can't help but wonder how many people and places this postcard has seen in all those years.
